Hey, I’m Paul.
I started Akoya Mockups because I wanted to make mockups that felt real—not just polished templates, but tools that could actually help other creatives show up confidently.
The name “Akoya” comes from the Japanese pearl. I loved how it represents simplicity, elegance, and quiet strength. That’s the vibe I’ve always chased in my own work—clean, intentional design that lets the idea speak for itself.
This little corner of the internet is where I share the kind of mockups I wish I had when I was just starting out—ones that feel considered, intuitive, and actually fun to use.

Why I Make This Stuff
Design has always been about storytelling for me.
Mockups are a way of shaping that story—setting the scene, giving your work a home. I spend a lot of time thinking about texture, light, mood—because those little details are what make things feel human.
When I create a new set, I imagine how you might use it: pitching to a dream client, refreshing your portfolio, testing out an idea that’s been sitting in your head for weeks. I want these tools to help you feel more confident, more proud of what you’re putting out there.
Thanks for being here! I can’t wait to see what you create with them.
Let’s Stay Connected
I love seeing how you use the mockups. If you post something, tag me or use #akoyamockups—I’m always resharing, cheering you on, and just honestly excited to see your work in the wild.
